This policy applies to all delivery riders using Spokesafe facilities. It is designed to ensure our sites remain safe, fair, and welcoming for all users.
Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate enforcement action, including suspension, permanent bans, fines, and where necessary, escalation to the police.
1. Approved Bikes & Charging
Converted eBikes (push bikes fitted with conversion kits) are strictly prohibited from charging at all Spokesafe locations.
These bikes present a serious fire and health & safety risk and must not be charged in any Spokesafe facility.
Any rider found charging a converted eBike will have their access removed immediately, with no refund.
Only manufacturer-built, compliant eBikes may be charged in Spokesafe eBike charging spaces.
2. Approved Locations for Delivery Riders
All delivery riders who joined Spokesafe on or after 1 January, and are parking in Central London, must park at Covent Garden only.
Delivery riders must not use other Spokesafe locations unless explicitly authorised in writing by the Spokesafe team.
Riders found using unauthorised locations will have their access suspended or permanently removed.
3. Account Use & Code Sharing
Accounts must not be shared under any circumstances.
Letting other individuals into a Spokesafe facility, sharing access codes, or using someone else’s account is strictly prohibited.
Enforcement:
Anyone caught code sharing will be immediately banned.
Anyone who shares their account with a suspended or banned individual will be fined £200 and have their access removed.
4. Use of Facilities While Suspended
Once an account has been suspended or banned, the individual must not attempt to access any Spokesafe site.
Anyone found using Spokesafe facilities after being suspended will be fined £200.
Repeated attempts to access sites after suspension will be treated as trespassing onto private property.
5. Behaviour & Respect for the Facility
All users are expected to:
Park only in their assigned rack
Use one locker only
Keep the facility clean and tidy
Avoid behaviour that impacts other users’ experience
Users who repeatedly violate rules, misuse the space, or damage the facility will have their access revoked immediately.
6. Escalation & Police Involvement
Individuals who repeatedly violate this policy, ignore suspensions, or trespass at Spokesafe sites will have their details shared with the police.
CCTV footage, access logs, and booking data may be used to support enforcement and investigations.
7. Reporting Issues
If you see someone:
Code sharing
Charging a converted eBike
Using multiple lockers
Trespassing after suspension
Please report this to Spokesafe with the exact date and time, so we can investigate.
